The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose Fragrance Mist - Review
So dear ladies how is summer treating you? Enjoying the blast of hot air ? :D. As much as I love summer, I was not expecting this severe heat wave so soon in Kolkata. The temperature touched 39 degrees on Friday and can you believe that we were even hotter than Dubai!! God knows what lies ahead but these months I'm so glad that I don't have to go out of my house before 5.00 pm. No love for you night shift but in summer you do make my life slightly better!
At this time of the year, I stay away from Eau De Parfums specially during the day and prefer the perfume mists. In Singapore, I bought about 4 Victoria Secret mists so I definitely did not need more but The Body Shop's latest launch was too delightful to miss. Talking about my latest favorite, Body Shop's White Musk Smoky Rose fragrance mist spray.

Latest Additions to my Perfume Collection - Antonio Banderas & DKNY
Thanks to medplusbeauty's 50% flat discount on perfumes, I got myself two new ones. Blue Seduction by Antonio Banderas (recommended by my friend Shikha. Thanks babe :D) and DKNY's Be Delicious Night.
Blue Seduction is by no means a new perfume. It was launched in 2008 and is a fresh, acquatic, fruity and slightly sweet fragrance, perfect for the day specially during summer. Not sure why it has Seduction in the name though when the smell is so fresh and clean. I was expecting a more intense, musky scent but I am very happy with what I have got. And at Rs 1900 + 50% off for 100 ml, it was quite a good deal.
DKNY Delicious Night was also launched in 2008 and is very much a night perfume. It's a floral-oriental fragrance and has got notes of frosted pomelo, ginger, blackberry, pink freesia, martini, night orchid, jasmine, pink iris, amber, frankincense, myrrh extract, patchouli and vetiver. This perfume is very intense and gives off a very dark, mysterious and alluring vibe. A perfume for the sexy, strong, confident and sassy woman :D. I think the perfume has been discontinued no but I'm not too sure. The original price was Rs 3300 for 100 ml.
The 50% off offer on medplusbeauty is on till 2nd Dec so grab some stuff if you want to. Enter the coupon code GLAM50 when you checkout.

Avon Little Gold Dress Perfume - Review
When it comes to perfumes, I really like the ones that Avon comes out with. A couple of years back I tried the famous Little Black Dress and absolutely loved it. Seeing the popularity of LBD, other variants like The Little Red Dress and Little White Dress were launched subsequently and this month, it's the turn of Little Gold Dress to make an appearance.
The perfume is described as a fruity floral oriental spray that opens with a bright burst of citrus from Clementine and luscious notes of Peach juice and purple plum. Honestly, I have no idea what Clementine and purple plum smells like but the perfume sure smells great!. I am usually not a fan of too floral or too fruity fragrances but I like that there is a blend of the two in this one. At the first whiff, the smell was too strong and synthetic but once it settled down, I liked how well balanced and elegant it was. Not too sugary, too strong, or too heavy but nice, clean, sparkling and yet sensual. I cannot really classify it as either a day or a night perfume because one can wear it anytime of the day. It's really that versatile and that is what I like.
Even though I like the smell of the perfume, I'm not a fan of the packaging and bottle. Perfumes to me should look pretty and luxurious but this one is way too plain. Yes it's gold and there is glitter on the lid but it's too simple for my liking. Wish Avon had jazzed up the bottle slightly. The staying power of The Little Gold Dress is quite decent. On me, it lasts for about 3-4 hours.
The Little Gold Dress is available from October onwards through Avon representatives and priced at Rs 1199. If you are a fan of floral and fruity fragrances that are not sweet or heavy, you will like this. I sure do!
P.S - PR Sample. Review 100% mine.

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Honeysuckle Perfume - Review
Winter is soon approaching and it will be the time for muskier and richer fragrances but if you still want to hold on to the carefree days of spring and summer, then go grab a bottle of Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea Honeysuckle. The original Green Tea is by far one of the most popular fragrances till date and Elizabeth Arden over the years have launched many variants. This year was the turn of Honeysuckle and Cherry Blossom.
The perfume has a blend of creamy honeysuckle and fresh green tea leaves and smells light, feminine and flirty. What I love about the fragrance is that it's not overpowering yet strong enough to last for nearly four hours. I'm no fragrance expert regarding top notes and base notes so have taken the following information from fragrantica.com to give you an idea of how this smells.
Top notes are bergamot, lemon, green tea, tangerine and boysenberry; middle notes are honeysuckle, jasmine sambac, ylang-ylang, green tea and tunisian neroli; base notes are peach, musk, birch and ambrette (musk mallow).
Crux of the matter is, I love Green Tea Honeysuckle because it smells clean, fresh, citrusy floral and is perfect for hot summer days. I bought the 50 ml for around Rs 1900 a month back and also got a free Elizabeth Arden makeup palette with it. This particular SA at the EA counter was extra nice to me so you might not get the palette everywhere. However I did see that EA has a 20% off now at Shopper's Stop so if you are in the mood for a new fragrance, check out the counter.

NOW IN STORES: DKNY DELICIOUS EAU SO INTENSE COLLECTION
As the passion for the brand grows ever more intense, the juice has followed that lead. Now eight years after debuting the first apple-inspired fragrance, Be Delicious, in 2004, DKNY introduces its most tempting iteration yet - the Delicious Eau So IntenseCo llection: Be Delicious Eau So Intense and F resh Blossom Eau So Intense. Perfum ers amped up the concentration of each element in the original formula in equal parts. Each has maintained the original structure and balance, just with more potency and staying power.
Why intensify now? Because Be Delicious is such a customer favorite around the world:
FAN FAVORITE: The clever packaging interpretation of New York’s Big Apple, a palm-sized clear glass object is the embodiment of the city’s vibrant, optimistic energy. It has clearly resonated across the globe, building and sustaining a rabid fan base from Germany to Singapore, South Africa to the Netherlands. Today, DKNY Fragrances engages the largest fragrance Facebook community in the world with over 780,000 “likes.”
BEST-SELLER: Enough of the eau de parfum has been sold to keep every New Yorker spritzed and smelling “delicious” day in and day out for two solid years. Globally, over 4 million DKNY Delicious apples are sold a year. That is over 10,000 bottles a day, 6-7 every minute. Every 10 seconds, someone, somewhere, picks a Be Delicious apple off of the shelves and takes a little slice of New York’s vibrant, sophisticated, optimistic spirit home.
AWARD-WINNING: More than three dozen times, magazine readers have awarded Be Delicious the title of favorite fragrance, in almost as many languages.
THE DELICIOUS EAU SO INTENSE COLLECTION
Be Delicious Eau So Intense
Be Delicious was the first to be derived from an apple extract, which was then layered with grapefruit, magnolia, sandalwood and white amber. A delectable new fragrance that is the pick of the crop, Be Delicious Eau So Intense is a higher concentration of our classic Be Delicious fragrance accentuating the key apple note—resulting in a more intoxicating scent that resembles the first bite of a fresh picked apple.
Fresh Blossom Eau So Intense
Rose and lily of the valley notes get more attention in the new Fresh Blossom Eau So Intense. The once-delicate floral, inspired by the fragile but potent blooms on an apple tree, made more nuanced by ramping up the concentration of two of the most celebrated notes in perfumery. The result is a more textural, intense floral bouquet that is long lasting and fresh.
Delicious Eau So Intense Collection is available at a retail price of Rs. 4,111 (50ml) and Rs. 5,308 (100ml) across leading malls and retail outlets in India.
