Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil - Review

Dabur has recently launched the Dabur Vatika Olive Hair Oil and I've been testing this product for sometime now. Must admit that I've never been too fond of oiling my hair and the only reason is that washing it off is nothing less than a nightmare. Be it the lightest or the heaviest hair oil, I'll have to shampoo my hair at least five to six times to get it all off and I just cant gather the energy or the enthusiasm to go through that process regularly. But then maintaining the quality of my hair has kinda forced me to religiously oil it atleast once a week and it's the new Dabur Vatika Olive Hair Oil that I've been trying out.

"New Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive oil with Olives, almond proteins and aloe vera gives extra nourishment, hairfall control and makes hair stronger and bouncy"

The oil comes in a flip top cap pack which makes it rather easy to use as compared with some other oils with not so user friendly packaging. The cap is tightly shut and there is no leakage. The oil has a light green tint and a pleasant flowery smell. The ingredients mention vegetable oils including olive oil and that's quite confusing. They should have mentioned what other oils are in here.

A big thanks to the Dabur team for making it so light weight. The oil is very easy to massage on to the scalp and it gets absorbed immediately therefore none of that yucky greasy, sticky and smelly feeling afterwards.

I'm liking this oil because this makes my hair shiny and gives it a bit of volume. Touch wood Touch wood, I don't have a lot of problem with hair fall so can't really figure out how much this has helped in that department but yes in terms of improving hair texture, this is doing a decent enough job. And the biggest reason why I'm endorsing this oil is coz it takes only two shampoo applications to go away from my hair. Yayy for that!

The new Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil is priced at Rs 110 for 200 ml and its good value for money. Can't say about the reducing hairfall claim but if you are looking for a daily use hair oil to maintain your locks, this is a decent buy.

P.S - PR Sample. Honest review as always.
