Last week I got the opportunity to try out the new Matrix Biolage Advanced Fiberstrong Treatment at the Matrix Technical Studio in Kolkata carried out by Suman Das, technical expert and East Zone trainer. This post is all about my experience of the treatment.

Before starting off with the treatment, Suman did the anti-hairfall diagnostic stretch test on me to decide on the level of hair weakness. Based on this test, the expert will recommend the treatment required for the hair and there are three levels:
Level 2: Hair stretches and breaks
Level 3: Damaged hair - breaks and falls easily.
Thankfully, I was assessed at Level 1 but Suman gave me the Level 2 treatment so that I could feel the difference. The next step after the test was to shampoo and condition my hair with the new Matrix Biolage Advanced Fiberstrong Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner. After rinsing off, Suman applied the Fiberstrong Intra-Cylane Concentrate all over the hair and kept it on for about 10 minutes. This concentrate is supposed to fill up the hair cuticles which have broken/prone to breakage and make it stronger. The next step of the treatment was the application of the Fiberstrong Strengthening Masque and massaging the hair. The massage is always something that I look forward to in any hair treatment and this one was heavenly. After the massage, my hair was rinsed off and towel dried. Suman then applied the Fiberstrong Strenghtening Leave-in cream and blow dried my hair. The last step was the application of the Biolage Deep Smoothing Serum for added shine.
After the treatment I was really impressed by how soft and smooth my hair felt and how healthy it looked. I forgot to click a before and after picture unfortunately but you can go by my words :). The treatment costs around Rs 700-1500 depending on the type of hair that you have and the salon. It is now available at all Matrix salons and you can find a list here.
