Born Pretty Store Revolving Girl Loose Blush 04 - Review, Swatches

Born Pretty Store is an amazing online store that sells affordable nail art supplies, fashion accessories, jewelry, clothes, makeup brushes, makeup etc. Last month I received a few makeup items for review and I've already written what I thought of the Dannii makhmali eye shadow palette and the Frozen Eye shadow. From the eyes, we come down to the cheeks and today is the turn of the Dannii Revolving Girl (no idea why!) Loose Blusher priced at $4.99. Read on to know whether this blush is worth buying..

Dannii is not a brand that I've heard of earlier but I've tried their makhmali eyeshadow palette and am really impressed with the quality and pigmentation. The blush is again a great product made by them. Its called Revolving Girl Loose Blusher and I got the shade 04. I have absolutely no idea what's written on the package but the only two words that are in English say that this is a moisturising blush.

The outer brown cardboard packaging is extremely unattractive but the jar itself is rather cute. Once you open the lid, there's a white powder puff with a pink bow inside. Since its a powder blush, the jar has a sifter to control how much product is dispensed. This is my first time using a loose blush so it did take a few attempts to get the application right. What I now do is pat the blush on my cheeks using the puff and then I use my Real Techniques blush brush to blend it in.

The color that I got is a very pretty coral with pink undertones and it looks lovely on my skin tone. The blush has light shimmer and that adds a nice subtle glow to the face without making it too shiny. I'm extremely impressed by the texture and pigmentation of the blush. The powder is finely milled, feels very smooth, applies and blends evenly. The color looks much stronger inside the jar than when its applied on the cheeks but you do need to be careful with how much you put on. A couple of light dabs is enough else you will run the risk of looking like a clown. Yes, thats how pigmented this blush is. The staying power of the blush is also extremely impressive. Even on a hot humid day, the blush lasted on my cheek for nearly 6 hours.

This is what I look like wearing the blush with a very light hand. Can you make out the color on my cheeks?

I honestly did not expect this product to turn out so good. Its affordable and performs as well as any high-end blush. Would totally recommend it. Click HERE to buy the blush and don't forget to use the code DDH10 to get 10% on your purchase.
