Coastal Scents Think Pink Palette - Review, Pics & Swatches

Today's post is by Maryam, an Indian, born, raised and now working as an analyst in Dubai. Maryam loves cats, has a degree in interior design, is an artist who loves painting on canvasses and her love for colors is the major reason behind the makeup addiction. She blogs about beauty, makeup, arts and craft at In this post, Maryam reviews Coastal Scents Think Pink Palette.

So, this month I could not decide which product to review as I have a ton of makeup and while surfing randomly on Facebook; I came across a page where they were encouraging makeup addicts to Go Pink this October to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. With the whole city being excited about the color pink, what could be more perfect than to review The Coastal Scents – Think Pink Palette?! So here I am, Going Pink for this cause.

This was my first Coastal Scent purchase and I had ordered it online via They are local merchants here in the UAE that offer branded makeup like Sleek, Coastal Scent and Sigma and also many baby products. I am totally satisfied buying from them as they are prompt in their delivery.

My review on the Think Pink Palette:
The palette comes in a sleek, black, sturdy case with a full size mirror and all the Hot Pot™ fits snugly into their magnetic palette. Despite the 12 colors, it’s very compact to carry while you’re travelling. Its delivered carefully wrapped in a bubble wrap to ensure safe handling while couriering internationally, and a plastic sheet covering the color pots. As the product claims, the palette contains 12 super gorgeous highly pigmented eye shadows which includes pinks, silver and even matte black to let your creativity loose and create looks ranging from innocent-girl-next-door look to the bad girl look. The awesome thing about this palette is that the shades include a combination of matte and shimmery sheer metallic finish and if applied wet, it can give you a dramatic, intense and a long lasting effect.

All the shades are individual Hot Pot™ from the Coastal Scent brand and can be purchased separately if one wishes to. Each Hot Pot™ has its unique name and code mentioned on the flipside of the colors.

Here are the names of the Hot Pot™:

  • Does not crease
  • Compact and sleek design, making it easy to carry in your bag

-         Available online only

Final Verdict:

I highly recommend Coastal Scents Think Pink Palette to those who love to create looks with pinks and magenta’s. Though Coastal Scent products are available online only, it is not a major con as the value and the product is totally worth the purchase. If you order from their official website, they deliver it via FedEx which provides you with a tracking number, and this number helps you check where your product’s journey online. However, there are many local merchants online that sell these products such as Laylam, from where I order most of my Coastal Scent products. It is affordable and their delivery charge is not so high.

The palette looks gorgeous Maryam and loved your review. Thanks for doing your bit for Breast Cancer Awareness. Wish you the very best for your blog and hope to see more of you at Pout Pretty :)
