The Body Shop Vitamin E COOL BB CREAM Launch Event and Product Details

Last week I was invited by The Body Shop to the launch of their newest product, the Vitamin E Cool BB Cream at South City Mall, Kolkata. I was excited for two reasons - I had not been to a TBS event before and second I would get to meet Dia Mirza who was coming over to launch the product. I reached South City at around 12.30 and met Shikha of Sorelle Grapevine, Lavli, the lovely PR girl of The Body Shop, Shayoni of Sweet and Bitter and Nivedita of Beauty At Times is Skin Deep. It was lovely meeting all these wonderful girls and we started clicking pictures like crazy, while waiting for Dia to arrive. Ultimately she did not because she fell sick, poor girl but that did nothing to stop our enthusiasm. We posed, we preened and had a gala time. The product was unveiled by Savita Dhami, Marketing Head of The Body Shop and we all got to try it out at the store. First impression of the new BB cream is that it is really light, blends well and does have a slight cooling sensation. Will not say that it provides a lot of coverage but it does brighten up the skin. All of us who were there got a complimentary sample of the product that I've been testing so watch out for the review soon. Thanks TBS for the invite and hopefully there shall be many more such events in Kolkata to look forward to.
