Makeup Revolution Awesome Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow Rose Gold - Review, Swatches

Early this year, Makeup Revolution, a budget brand made its debut in UK with a host of products at really cheap prices. Their lipsticks I think cost only a pound and a 32 shade eye shadow palette for only eight pounds! Makeup Revolution is available in India through Jabong and while browsing their new makeup launch section, I came across this Awesome Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow in the shade Rose Gold. What is disappointing is that while the price of this product in the UK is £4.00, Jabong is selling it for Rs 990 which is crazy! Thankfully, I had a voucher of Rs 500 and the end price of Rs 490 was not bad for this dupe of the famous Stila Magnificent Metals Eye Foils priced at £47.

Like bright fuchsia lipsticks? Meet one of the brightest colors you will come across - Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipstick Pink Pong (how cute is that name!). If you have read the post where I reviewed the shade Frambourjoise, you will know how much I'm loving these liquid matte lipsticks. I bought Frambourjoise in Paris, came back and was practically kicking myself for not buying some more shades but then help was only a phone call away. My mum was in Singapore and she got me two more shades from this range - Pink Pong, a bright bright fuchsia and Peach Club, a pretty peach. Peach Club will be coming up soon but for now, let's focus on Pink Pong.

Inside My Envy Box July Edition - Review

The July edition of My Envy Box reached my place about a week back so sorry about this late post. I've been really busy at work and hardly getting time to take pictures and write for the blog and the sad part is that I'm going to get busier. No idea how I'm going to manage everything but I'll sure try my best. Omved Protective Face Moisturiser - Review

Today's post is about a skincare product I've been loving recently and it is the Omved Protective Face Moisturiser. Omved is not a brand I've explored a lot. Till date, I've tried the Moisturising Face Cleanser and now this moisturizer but I will definitely check out their range because they make some really nice products that are not tested on animals and free of parabens, sulfates, silicones, synthetic colors and all the bad stuff. 

Omved Protective Face Moisturiser is an "emollient that keeps your face supple and moisturised. Use regularly to protect sun-damaged skin and reduce age spots and scars". The ingredients are DM water, avocado oil, almond oil, glycerin, jojoba oil, salicyclic acid, ashwagandha oil, oils of lavender, yland ylang, jasmine, sodium benzoate, glyceryl stearate and cetyl alcohol. The price is Rs 790 for 100 ml.

Indian beauty and makeup enthusiasts will be eternally grateful to Renu of My Beauty Junction for giving us Memebox. I was unaware of this beauty box that includes skincare and makeup products from Korea till she started raving about them and like a lot of you, even I got curious. I was slightly apprehensive initially because I wasn't sure if the products would reach me safely but Renu assured that they use registered post so I went ahead and placed a couple of orders. The first box was actually a trial run to see if I get it safely and once I did, I've gone slightly crazy. And it is so hard not to! These guys come up with such brilliant themes everyday and they include atleast 5 full size products (no stupid sachets here) which come straight from Korea.

#SayNoToBars & Take Care of Your Skin Dear Men!

Dear men, I know you don't care much about taking care of your skin (well, most of you don't) but it is high time you do. Believe me there's nothing 'girl-like' or 'unmanly' about taking care of one of the most vital organs of your body. You are worried about your heart, lungs, kidneys right then why not your skin which is prone to maximum damage? You will spend lakhs on getting yourself fancy clothes, shoes, gadgets, cars etc but when it comes to washing your face, you use a soap bar! Cmon, stop being a 'bar-barian' and #SayNo ToBars! Soap bars that is. 

You might ask then what is a good alternative? Well, use a face wash that is much more gentle than that soap bar. If you keep using that bar for years, your skin will become dry and you will get wrinkles much earlier and that ain't too macho right? You can use the new Garnier Men Oil Clear Facewash if you have oily skin and the Garnier Men Acnofight Facewash if you have acne. And if you have normal to dry skin, you can try Garnier Men Powerlight Facewash. And if you don't know what is your skin type, then just google or better, ask the women in your life for guidance.

A good face wash suitable for your skin type is a must have. There are two other must-haves which you must use religiously everyday. Here goes..

Moisturise - Moisturising the skin is also equally important, for all skin types (yes, even oily skin!). You can use the Garnier Men Powerlight Oil Control & Fairness Moisturiser to control oil secretion and keep your face looking fresh all day.

Apply sunscreen - Men who don't use sunscreen increase their risk of getting sun damage, which result in irritation and also skin cancer. Stay forever young (or close to it) by applying sunscreen every single day.

Just incorporate these three products in your everyday life and use them religiously. Your skin will thank you for it!

For Anju Modi's show, Mickey Contractor went with bare lips and smokey eyes. 

Yash lipstick looks horrible on me but on these dusky models it looks stunning! Think I have to give it another chance now. Which one is your favorite out of these two looks?

Sparkle and Shine with Maybelline's Glitter Mania Nail Polishes - Today's NOTD

This is probably going to be my shortest post ever. I honestly can't think of writing anything else other than "I love the new Maybelline Glitter Mania nail polishes and I've been wearing them non-stop ever since I got them". 

These babies pack a lot of glitter, they apply really well, they last for nearly a week without chipping, the shades are beautiful, the price is even more beautiful and the best part is that while removing them you don't have to utter ten thousand swear words!. Yes ladies, we all know what a pain removing glitter polish is right! 

Today, I have the shades All that Glitters, a beautiful dull gold and Dazzling Diva, a radiant silver on my nails. The ring is by Valliyan.

Hiya everyone, today's post is about a product from a skincare brand I'm trying out for the first time. I had read some good things about Vaadi Herbals range of affordable skincare products but never got around to trying any till the brand kindly sent me a couple of samples. One of them is the Chandan Kesar - Haldi face pack, meant to lighten the skin tone, fight tanning and fade dark spots and blemishes. Extracts of saffron, turmeric, sandal and manjistha are active ingredients and the pack is priced at Rs 90 for 120 gm.
