Inside My Envy Box September Edition

Good God can you believe that September is already on it's way out and there are just three months to go for this year to end. Didn't this year just start?? I am so not looking forward to the months ahead. I've always been a summer girl and totally dislike the dull, dreary and gloomy winter. Plus, Daylight Savings starts in the US which means my office time gets pushed an hour back and I finish at 3.30 a.m. Sigh :(. Anyway, enough of cribbing and let's get to the topic of this post - The September edition of My Envy Box (Rs 850).

Inside My Envy Box July Edition - Review

The July edition of My Envy Box reached my place about a week back so sorry about this late post. I've been really busy at work and hardly getting time to take pictures and write for the blog and the sad part is that I'm going to get busier. No idea how I'm going to manage everything but I'll sure try my best. Coming to My Envy Box, this month the products were sent out in the lavender box, my favorite of all the colors that I've got till date. Let's take a look at what was inside.

Inside the June Edition of My Envy Box

This month's My Envy Box has to be my favorite of them all. First of all, I love the look of the box itself. The purple lavender color is so pretty and I hope My Envy Box sticks to this at least for another month or two. The other reason why I like this month's box is because the size of the samples have increased substantially and they have added a full size product priced at Rs 300.

Inside the My Envy Box March Edition

Couple of days back I received the March edition of My Envy Box and here I am to share what I got inside the box. I'm sure by now you all know about My Envy Box but those who don't, do check out my previous posts to see what I got in the January and February boxes.

This month, I got six products along with a 20% off discount coupon from one of my favorite online jewelry stores, Pipa Bella. Definitely using the coupon very soon. The other products are:

Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask- Rs 950 for 100 ml/ Rs 1500 for 200 ml

I'm really happy to get two samples of the Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask because this is one product from Innisfree that I've really wanted to try. Right now, Innisfree has only one store in Delhi but My Envy Box will soon stock their products on their website. Eagerly waiting!

Eau Thermale Avene Very High Protection Emulsion SPF 50+- Rs 1250 for 50ml

Avene is a French brand well known for their skincare products and I'm very happy to get a sample of their best selling sunscreen. This is formulated for sensitive skin and is very light. I used this once and I loved how fast it got absorbed and that its not oily or greasy at all. The sample should last me about 3-4 uses and I'm definitely picking up the full size product.

Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDT- Rs 4100 for 50ml/ Rs 5800 for 125ml

Oh My God! This was love at first whiff! What an intoxicating fragrance and this is gonna be my next perfume for sure. I received four sachets of the perfume that you have to rub on to the skin. I absolutely detest these sachets and would much prefer a vial. Please My Envy Box, next time give me a vial. These sachets are so useless!

Issey Miyake Leau Dissey Homme Sport- Rs 3200 for 50ml/ Rs 4500 for 125ml

Three sachets again :(..Love the citrusy smell of this and I'm not giving them to any man. Will use myself :)

Eminence Organics Sour Cherry Whip Moisturizer – Rs 4393 for 60ml

Got a tiny sample of this super expensive product and I love the cherry smell. Reminds me of frozen yoghurt somehow :). The texture of the moisturiser is super smooth and it just disappears into the skin without making it oily. I think I can get about 3-4 uses out of the sample but the full size product is way too expensive!

Rene Furterer Okara Protect Color Radiance Enhancing Conditioner - Rs 1980 for 200ml

I'm now tired of getting these Rene Furterer samples and really want some other haircare brand. This is the third month in a row that I've got Rene Furterer :(. This time its a radiance enhancing conditioner that claims to protect colored hair. I've got colored hair so will try it out and let you know how good/bad this is.

Overall, I have mixed feelings about the March edition of My Envy Box. I loved that they gave the Pipa Bella discount coupon and the Innisfree and Avene samples but hated that I did not get a vial of that awesome Narciso Rodriguez perfume. Also waiting for makeup products to be included along with customized boxes.

My Envy Box is priced at Rs 850. You can check out their website and subscribe here

P.S - The box was sent by the brand for review. My opinion is honest as always.

Inside the February My Envy Box

Happy Valentine's Day my pretties! Sending all of you a lot of love and I hope you are having a fabulous time with your loved ones :). I'm in no mood to celebrate because of my not so perfect health but the arrival of the Feb edition of My Envy Box yesterday definitely cheered me up a lot.

February My Envy Box
Most of you know that My Envy Box is a luxury beauty service and here's some more information:
  • Price of 1 box : Rs 850
  • Get 5 trial sized beauty products (typically 2ml-10ml) from the top international luxury and prestige brands delivered to your door step every month
  • Get Rs. 213 worth (25%) of ENVY points to redeem in our store
  • Free Shipping
  • All products are sourced from brands and authorized distributors in India
  • Access to special deals
  • Be one of the lucky 50 to get a copy of the latest Elle Magazine
  • Use the code 'ENVYFEB' and get 10% off on any full size product
The Feb box is a special Valentine edition and the brand sure did not disappoint. I've always been a fan of the packaging and I love the box that come with the products. This month along with the orange box, there is also an addition of a pouch that contains all the samples. Another great bonus is a coupon that entitles me to a complimentary makeover and consultation from Givenchy's make-up expert! The only hitch is that I live in a city where there is no Givenchy counter :(..booohooooo. I am so so sad to see that coupon go waste.

Other than the coupon, here's what else I got in my box:
  • Forest Essentials Sugared Rose Petal Lip Balm Full size - Rs 595
  • Thalgo Oxygen SOS serum samples
  • Givenchy Dahlia Noir and Gentlemen Only perfume vials
  • Rene Furterer Carthame Moisturizing Milk Shampoo sample
  • Eminence Organics Chocolate Mousse Hydration Masque sample

I love the selection of products and brands but for me the star of the month is definitely Forest Essentials. If you love rose, this is something you must have! Good God the lip balm smells divine and I just cant stop myself from putting this on. Last month, I got Elie Saab perfume samples but in sachets which I wasn't too fond off. So glad they sent vials this time and the two perfumes smell lovely! One is a men's perfume but I'm quite fond of men's perfume so will use it myself :D. Rene Furterer, Thalgo and Eminence are brands that I have tried before and they are wonderful. That chocolate masque is going on my face tonight :D

I had expected makeup in this month's box so slightly disappointed but the note that comes with the box does mention that they are focusing on getting leading makeup brands on board and we should get some in the next few months. Keeping fingers crossed! I really like that My Envy Box has stuck to providing samples from luxury brands only till date and their selection has been pretty good. Hope they start off with customized boxes very soon. You can subscribe to the My Envy Box here

Inside the January My Envy Box

I received the January edition of My Envy Box a couple of days ago and here I am presenting the contents. Before showing you what I got, below is some information about My Envy Box for those of you who are not aware of this new luxury beauty box service.

  • Use the code 'ENVYJAN' and get 10% off on any full size product
  • Click here to subscribe to the special Feb Valentine's Edition

This month, I did not get the Elle magazine but this is the list of the samples that I got:

1. Rene Furterer Karite Intense Nourishing Shampoo - Full size is for 150 ml and costs Rs 1320
2. Rene Furterer Karite Intense Nourishing Mask - Full size is for 100 ml and costs Rs 2200
3. Elie Saab Le Parfum - 30 ml Rs 2950, 50 ml Rs 4600 and 90 ml Rs 5950
4. Eminence Organic Tinted Moisturiser (BB cream) - Full size 35 ml for Rs 3993
5. Thalgo Unizones Clearing Corrector - Full size 30 ml for Rs 2350
6. Thalgo Brightening Regulating Essence - Full size 30 ml for Rs 3700

I really love the packaging and the quality of the box itself is good. Its white, sturdy and looks classy.  I am happy that My Envy Box started off with makeup this month and I really hope that they continue with this trend. Eager to try out the Eminence BB cream but wish it wasn't in a sachet. A sample size tube would have been so much better. Rene Furterer is a brand that I've heard a lot of good things about and again eager to check if the shampoo and mask work on my dry hair. The size of the samples is pretty decent and I can get about 2 washes from the tubes. The Thalgo products I have used before and they really suit my skin type. Love that brightening essence.

Overall, a pretty good box and I liked the selection of stuff. My only gripe is with the perfume sample. A vial would have been so much better than these sachets which you need to rub on the skin to get the smell. That aside, love the contents of this month's box. I wish they start off with customised boxes soon and not give everyone the same products. What is making me very excited is the fact that there are a lot of new brands that are coming onboard My Envy Box. These are Clinique, Forest Essentials, Crabtree & Evelyn and many more. The coming months are sure gonna be interesting!

Inside the December Edition of My Envy Box

I've been hearing a lot of buzz about My Envy Box, the latest beauty box to hit the Indian market so decided to go in for one month's subscription at Rs 850 to see if its worth all the talk. Before I reveal the contents of the December box, here's some information about the brand that is striving to bring trial sized beauty products from top international and luxury brands right to our doorstep!

The December box was delivered yesterday and getting an Elle magazine with it was a wonderful surprise. When I saw pictures of the previous month's boxes, I loved the orange color and was expecting the same. I got a white box though and not that white looks bad but I would have preferred the orange one. White looks too stark don't you think? Not to mention the fact that it will get dirty really fast!

The quality of the box is top notch though. It's made of cardboard, is sturdy and inside the products are wrapped in paper. There are five cards containing information about each of the products inside along with a welcome note with information about the brand and what's available on their website.

Here's a list of what I got:
  • Remy Laure Eye Contour Relaxing Mask (15 ml)
  • Remy Laure Eye Contour Cream (15 ml)
  • Remy Laure Eye Contour Gel (10 ml)
  • Rene Furterer Naturia Gentle Balancing Shampoo (15 ml)
  • Avene Rebalancing Soothing Emulsion (5 ml)
  • Chloe Signature Eau De Parfum (1.2 ML)
  • Bonne Maman Strawberry Preserve (Surprise!)

My thoughts on the service.
  • Very glad that I did not get sachets and the sample size is actually not too bad. I did not expect full sized products because the brand explicitly states that it will only provide samples. Full sized ones someday My Envy?
  • Liked the choice of brands and the combination of perfume, haircare and skincare. Bring on the makeup now please!
  • Seven products is impressive and specially liked the addition of the strawberry preserve. Tastes good too!
  • Price of one box at Rs 850 is definitely high but if they send me an Elle magazine, seven good quality products and also provide points to redeem at their store, I'm not gonna complain about the price too much
  • Since its a fairly new service, they have not started personalized boxes yet but I do hope they start it soon so that everyone does not get the same things
  • Will I subscribe to the Jan box? Think I will coz one little birdie told me sometime back that they might include makeup!
What do you think of My Envy Box? Will you subscribe?
