Inside My Envy Box August Edition

The August edition of My Envy Box came home last week but due to a crazy schedule I could not put up the post then. Without any more delay, let's open the box and show you what's inside.

This month, My Envy Box added four new skincare brands from Latvia to New Zealand in their brand list and I got products from two of them in the box. Here are the goods.

My Envy Box - August 2014

L’Occitane En Provence Angelic Hydra Vital gel ( 2 sachets) - A light and ultra fresh gel that is a true burst of hydration to help revitalize the skin. It’s cooling gel texture relaxes and soothes the skin for a more radiant complexion. The gel provides 24 hours of hydration, leaving the skin immediately refreshed and soothed. The description sounds interesting and I've also heard good things about this product so will definitely give it a try. But why sachets???

Givenchy Ange ou Demon Le Secret Perfume Sample - Love this floral fruity fragrance that is fresh yet sensual.

H2O+ Sea Mineral Scrub - A 30 ml sample of the sea mineral scrub. I like the quantity but so bored of getting H2O products now. Wish I was sent something else.

Wild Ferns Night Creme (7ml)  - This is a skincare brand from New Zealand and the ingredients of this cream are placenta extract (ewwwww) and EPO (dunno what that is). I don't know whether the placenta is of mammals or humans but whatever it is, I'm not applying it on my face!

Epique Active Regenerating Day Cream (5ml) - For mature skin so goes to mum.

The box also has a voucher for eye makeup consultation at Givenchy but that's of no use to me because there is no Givenchy in Kolkata.

I repeat the same thing every month but no one seems to pay any attention :(. Dear My Envy Box, can you please do something about the size of the samples? L'Occitane gives these sachets for free at their stores! While I appreciate that you are getting new brands on board and we are given an opportunity to try out new things every month, I really would not want to pay money to get sachets and tiny tubes. Specially after getting a taste of Memebox!

PR Sample. Honest review as always.
