Inside the Ayesha Accessories Store at Quest Mall, Kolkata

Ayesha Accessories store, Quest Mall, Kolkata

With the opening of Kolkata's newest Quest Mall, we now have access to a lot of brands that were only available in cities like Delhi and Mumbai till date. Kiehl's, Crabtree & Evelyn, Parcos, Lifestyle, Gucci, Burberry, Michael Kors etc have all set up shop here and looks like the shopping scenario in Kol is all set for a major brand boost. Among the latest entrants is an accessories brand founded by an erstwhile child movie star, Ayesha Kapur. Yup, she was the talented little girl in the film Black and she also happens to be the daughter of Dilip Kapur, Hidesign's owner.

Ayesha is of course no longer a child and has grown up to be a beautiful and trendy teenager and her brand, Ayesha Accessories reflects her style. If you are fashionable, experimental and constantly evolving then you are definitely an Ayesha girl. The store opened up at Quest about a month ago and in this post, I'll give you a glimpse of what you can expect when you walk inside.

My Shoplately.com Wishlist

While browsing the net some days back, I came across this amazing website Shoplately, described as a fashion marketplace on the web. Shoplately sells trendy products from unique designers and provides merchants small and large a place to sell their goods and a place for shoppers to explore everything from clothing, to shoes, to accessories. Their mantra is to Shop now, shop often!

While browsing through the website, I was really impressed by the stuff that they have. From bags to shoes to clothes to hats and jewelry, Shoplately has them all. Each day, they organise sale events packed with limited-time offers and discounts as well as regular-priced items. And the unique thing is that you can not only buy from here but sell as well. You can create and manage your own store page where you can sell both full price and discounted items. You can run limited time sale events and track your orders, returns, inventory and shipping easily with the user-friendly Marketplace.

To give you a preview of what Shoplately offers, I've put together a wishlist of 5 items that I really liked. There are obviously much more that I did, but these would have to be my top 5. So here goes..

1. COB & PEN Genie's Tote Bag - There are 6 colors available in this design but I was instantly drawn to the royal blue one. So rich and love the gold and blue combo.

2. Heart Soul Tito Sandal, Blue - This instantly reminded me of spring/summer. So pretty!

3. Cute Embroidered Dress - Precisely why I like it :)..so cute and so summery!

4. Rose Gold Sequin Top - I love anything that is rose gold and this top even has sequins in it. Love!

5. Starbucks Coffee Necklace - This has got to be the cutest necklace I've ever seen. Look at that detailing!

So these are some of the things that I really liked. Go ahead, explore Shoplately and I'm sure you will find loads of stuff that you would want to buy for yourselves.

Do let me know what all you fancied.

Inside My October Fab Alley Jewel Box

I received the October Fab Alley Jewel Box last month but missed out on showing the contents to you so here goes. As always, I picked the Glam box and loved the jewels that were sent to me. So sparkly, colorful and perfect for this season!

I got two neck pieces and a pair of earrings. I love anything that is chunky and has crystals and rhinestones and these pieces have a lot of them! They are totally my style and all of these for Rs 1000 is pretty good don't you think?

I have subscribed to the Fab Alley jewel box earlier as well and have always loved what I got. Click here to see the September box and also know more about how the Fab Alley Jewel Box works.

Inside My September Fab Alley Jewel Box

It's been a while since I ordered a Fab Alley jewel box because I was just not getting something that I really liked. However, last month while checking out the boxes online, I fell in love with the Glam box (again!) and went ahead and booked it.

For those who are absolutely clueless about what I'm writing about, click here. You will be directed to the Fab Alley jewel box page where you can take a quick style quiz and based on your answers, a box will be recommended for you. You can be either Boho, Casual, Glam or Classic and each box will have three jewelry pieces to reflect your personality. You can obviously take whatever box catches your fancy but the quiz is good fun (gets boring when you have to do it every month though!). I absolutely love the concept of a jewel box and for Rs 1000, it's not a bad deal. The quality of the products are quite good and they look pretty too. The only thing I find irritating is the fact that it takes a month for the box to arrive. I placed my order for the Sept box sometime early last month and it got delivered only today. Wish they speed up the delivery process quite a bit.

In my September Glam box, I got two neckpieces and a earring. The earring is slightly OTT and one that I definitely can't wear everyday but it does look good. I loved the neckpieces and so did everyone at work today. Wore the smaller one and there were quite a few appreciative glances towards me. I've gone ahead and booked a box for October too. And yes, it's again a Glam!! Bling and OTT is just me!!

Take a look at what I got in the September box.
