Ever since I started beauty blogging, I've realized that I've become much more open to trying out new products. Case in point - The Garnier Light 3 in 1 Fairness Facial. I've always been wary of fairness products and products that claim to have multiple benefits coz honestly I didn't believe in them. And that's the major reason why I was holding off on trying the new Garnier fairness facial for all this while. Thankfully, I was given the opportunity to try it out some days back and now I'm wondering why I didn't get it earlier!
So what exactly is the Garnier Light 3 in 1 Fairness Facial? Its a face wash cum scrub cum mask that works in 3 ways to give brighter and more radiant skin. The face wash deep cleans, the scrub removes dead cells and the mask gives instant fairness and glow to the skin. For more information:
Did you just say What? This has pumice? But that's what I use to clean my feet? Yup, same thoughts as mine and believe me, I got really scared when I read that. But don't worry, this scrub won't really yank off your skin. It has small pumice granules, which are slightly abrasive but is pretty effective in removing the dead cells.
The texture of this product is like a paste because of the clay and it's not a liquid or a gel. It has small white and blue granules which does the work of the scrub. I actually like it more as a scrub and mask than a face wash and that's what I primarily use this product for. It's quite a good exfoliator and I also like the cooling effect that it gives off on application. Perfect for the hot summer months!
I've been using it as a scrub twice a week and as a face mask once a week for sometime now. Have not seen any difference in my complexion and I wasn't looking for that either but yes my skin does feel clean, smooth, refreshed and looks healthy after I use this. Thankfully, I've not had any issues with breakouts either. The only con is that it makes the skin slightly dry and tight after washing off so a good moisturizer is very much needed.
To sum it up, this is quite a handy product specially for women-on-the go who do not have a lot of time in their hands and are looking for instant fixes. Don't buy this for the fairness claims but if you are looking for a product that effectively cleans, exfoliates and makes the skin look radiant, the Garnier Light 3 in 1 Fairness Facial is a good buy. Won't put too much pressure on the wallet too. A 50 gm tube costs Rs 99 and 100 gm for Rs 179.
